Would you rather be a satisfied pig or a dissatisfied human?

Uh, that's an incredibly difficult question! A part of me who has lived and seen things it never thought were possible thinks "definitely pick the satisfied pig, you'll be rid of consciousness and live without having known any non-physcial hardships; it's a dream come true!" But then the intellectual is awakened and is like "what true worth is life or meaning of life if you're not a thinking, calculating human being? How can you understand books? Or sway with your favorite songs playing? Or know the meaning of "favorite"? Who are you if you can't have the ability to answer that question? Just anyone?"



So to answer your question, I'd rather be a random old couch in a landfill somehwere.

If you had been here with me half an hour ago while I ate a rather large lunch you'd realise that it's possible to be both. >:-/
