I am sorry for being so hostile to this site with my response earlier, I honestly posted this question because I was frustrated with the layout of the website and wasn't adjusting well to the layout, but I am willing to give this website a chance.
I really like it here and I have been on a few other sites in the past. People seem to know how to debate here without going personal. I was pretty leery of getting involved with any social site after seeing how low some can go, but this place really has proven to be wonderful.
There seems to be a great diversity of people and topics. You can find lots of humor or a serious discussion just about any time you log on. I love having that variety.
Ha! You know it. I never got off on a site that applauds personal drama and encourages discord.
This site continues to grow because most people realize the joy of posting in a place where they can express themselves in a safe environment. Funny, even with no blocking here, I never think twice about being myself.
When we first came here I wasn't sure about the 'no blocking' on the site, but I love that now. It makes people think before they are rude and disrespectful. For the most part. adults act like adults here. WoW what a concept! Lol Much better than some sites out there. ;-)
We all know that blocking doesn't stop anyone. If anything, they feel more compelled to post their "defense" since they can't answer back directly to someone's nonsense. And anyone that thinks blocking prevents someone seeing or hearing about what is going on is kidding themselves.
People are accountable here and I do think most people think before they respond.
