Oh, I dunno, Sapphic. If you look down the list of questions it's clear that the number of people who pop in to read the responses is far higher than those people who actually answer. So the questions are working on a couple of levels -- they allow some people to exchange ideas, others to answer when they have something to contribute, and then there are the observers.
I get your point. And as an average perspective it might also be true. There will be variances across categories as questioners. I do as well see a lot of questions here where I have so little answers, which all will be out of very different reasons. All this being said, my question can be taken into another level of live, which isn't limited to my presence here. We do, or at least I do have a lot of questions, and I only have so little answers to them. Hmm.
It can be disappointing when you think you've posted a question that should be interesting and it goes to its grave unfulfilled, like an elderly virgin. You contribute a lot of questions, mine are relatively few (about five a day) some folk find it difficult to think up a topic at all. That's the way it goes on these sites.
Oh. I am satisfied with the participation on questions that I post here, for my part. No complaints at all. I make my five a day as you, some days even more if I'm in the mood. :-)
