Nope, I'm the farthest her mother's imagination could have ever conjured up. Different ethnicity, different culture, different religion, different ideology, different life experiences, different nationality, etc.
No my MIL doesn't really seem to dislike or hate me but my hubby's grandmother is a different story. She gets totally bent out of shape over things other people do and I always do a couple of the things she gets totally bent out of shape about. Unfortunately for her my hubby finds those things attractive about me.
