What are the funniest or most embarrassing mondegreens you've come across?

  • "Eugene O’Neill won a Pullet Surprise. "
"Dead ants are my friends, they're blowin' in the wind."

*(The word MONDEGREEN) originated 1954 when the seventeenth century ballad "The Bonnie Earl of Moray" was misheard; "they have slain the Earl of Moray/ and laid him on the green", became "They have slain the Earl of Moray/ And Lady Mondegreen".
