  • I have heard of him, but I think you misspelled his name.  Hit spellcheck and see what you get. This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at March 14, 2017 7:44 AM MDT

Nowadays, people consider the Beatles as classical.

I'd go for the likes of Handel - easier to spell for starters.

  • Classical music is for haughty, pretentious twits.

  • Rap? God's blood NO!!!  Some bluegrass is enjoyable but for me Celtic, Renaissance and Medieval are choice.

Some Bluegrass has its origins from Irish immigrants.

  • Immigrants bring their music with them.  It is often adapted and adopted to a new culture.

I have heard a few of his piano Concertos; the fourth of which I am left wanting more. Mine is Klaus Schmeckelputzenstuppen.

He was also gay. Had to keep it secret, it was illegal in Russia (and still is).

  • Hi Whistle 6...
...it's Beethoven. I love so many classical composers, but he is just SO wonderful. Special mention of his Fifth Piano Concerto...and this one:

  • Beethoven, Bach, Ravel, Tchaikovsky.  Classical composers all. Dead all.  What may one infer from this?  Composing classical music is fatal.  It Beethoven one to know this.
