    That is great!  It's one of those songs that I find people have forgotten.  I had the pleasure of seeing him perform about 17 years ago at one of our local small venues.  He is a born story teller like his father.

    You know I never thought much about Haight Ashbury until I got on Ask.com in 2010...so long ago...but just by chance (whatever THAT is) I ended up there 1967-69...quite a watershed time, for both me and the whole nation too, I suppose...

    No problem!  My pleasure dragonfly.  How do you want your burger cooked?  Medium rare?  I was debating the cheeseburger vs grilled cheese.  It was a tough choice but grilled cheese with tomato is one of my comfort foods and it won out in the end.

    Ah there's the rub Glis.  Since it's Alice's Restaurant, she insists the song is played on a constant loop, day in, day out.   

    How about some ear plugs or better yet, I'll lend you my Beats headphones.  It may make conversation difficult but I will bend over backwards for a guy who is willing to pick up the check.
