  • Thermonuclear weapons and war.  Ghenghis can't shut up about how to get one.  Ghandi tries to convince him that there is no point to having one.  Galileo is fascinated by learning about the immense power of the atom and is pleased he understands the sun better.  Michelangelo finds inspiration for his next work over seeing mushroom cloud images.  Darwin learns mutagen qualities of radioactivity and devises new experiments on evolution.  Amelia can't shut up about those amazing jet planes being wasted on being bomb carriers for such an awful device.  While Joan just wishes she burned up that fast.

Me, Florence and Cleopatra grow bored of it all and retire to the master bedroom to watch Salome do her dance for us in private.

  • Seriously Virginia.  Have you ever tried to remove blood stains from purple velvet chairs? Club soda and a spoon my left foot.
My grandmother left me that table cloth.:(

  • After we finally got past the electric oven and how there was no smoke or chimney, why i didn't have slaves doing the serving and trying to explain what the chime meant when the microwave finished i retired to bed with a headache .. i think they went on to party... Not too sure

  • You just can't educate some of those old timers. Still, given Genghis Khan's reputation with the ladies you might have found the dinner became pretty interesting later on.

  • One of my sons has made two attempts on the English Channel but even HE wouldn't attempt that swim. I'll await your coach and four or even your surrey with the fringe on top.

  • Be very careful what you say, WW. If all these people can come to life how far away could Mark Antony be? And he's been as mean as hell since finished burying Caesar.

BTW you will be aware that Julius Caesar famously said, "Veni, vidi, vici" which translates as "I came, I saw, I conquered." But did you know that after meeting Cleopatra, Mark Antony said, "Vidi, vici, veni." I'll leave you to work out the translation.
