If you had all of the explosives you would ever need, what or who would you blow up?

Don't you like secondary explosions? What about something already ignitable like a gas tank?

  •   Brisance and deflagration make me happy... Primary, secondary.   It's like raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens for me.

Also to get you put on an FBI watch list. Have fun cross country on the Grey Hound bus as you may no longer be able to fly. This post was edited by O-uknow at March 17, 2017 4:41 AM MDT

  • I'd blow up the moon. By the time all that green cheese found its way down to Earth we'd be able to feed the world's starving masses for generations.

There's a precedent. An early Israeli commando -- a guy named Moses -- organised a raid to rescue his people from their Egyptian captivity. He hadn't done a lot of forward planning and by the time they crossed the Red Sea they were pretty hungry. So he said to God, "I've done my bit. I got 'em here. Were you planning to lend a hand any time soon?" So God organised a supply of cheese from the moon (in ancient Aramaic the word for cheese was manna ). And that is why, to this very day, there are visible craters on the moon. They are just ancient cheese mines.

  • Thanks, WW. Isaac Asimov told this story about the Exodus:

A little girl, whose mother asked what she had learned at Sunday School, said, "We learned about an Israeli general called Moses who was leading an army on a retreat from Egypt. The Egyptians were pursuing with tanks and Moses was forced back upon the Red Sea, where he faced annihilation. Calling for air cover, he threw a pontoon bridge across..."
Mother was aghast and broke in with, "Surely that's not what you were taught?"
"Well, not exactly, Mom. But if I told it to you the way the teacher told it to me, you'd never believe it."

I wouldn't blow up anyone unless they didn't deliver the money I asked for.

  • Sorry, WW, it wouldn't work. There are no gays in the Middle East. It's not permitted.

  • Ah, WW, it's very early here and I haven't yet had my first coffee of the day (I'm gonna correct that as soon as I hit the Post Reply button) but when you say that whoever don't like it can suck it, you don't, ah, mean, ah...

    Back soon. With the coffee.
