    And the half dozen or so US military installtions and ships within range of their missiles.   Cost several thousands more US lives.   The US should never pre-emptively strike anyone.  We do not need to be the ones to start a long brutal, expensive and deadly war.

    Perhaps it's time to let him play with the black.

    In the past, the West always reacts to N. Korea.

    No, he didn't suggest it. Suggestion has connotations of gently urging someone to do something. He said all options were "on the table" which means he doesn't rule anything out.

    It's really an answer people give when they don't want to explain what they're really thinking. You play good poker by being unpredictable not by wearing your heart on your sleeve.
