    Of course.  A dozen or so.   Over the years ive been to funerals for people at church, my sisters mother in law, my boss's daughter and then her father and then her mother.  A co-workers father.  And so on.  Social obligation. &nb...  moreOf course.  A dozen or so.   Over the years ive been to funerals for people at church, my sisters mother in law, my boss's daughter and then her father and then her mother.  A co-workers father.  And so on.  Social obligation.   You show support for people/families you care about even if you dont know the dead well.    Or, in the case of the boss, you just dont want her to be angry.

You carry a grudge and make it personal and you never get anything done. You become North Korea - angry, paranoid and isolated. If each generation staus angry and vengeful about things that occured in previous generations nothing gets done, no or few advances are made. You can see proof of that right here in the USA with a certain people group who are determined to carry vengence and anger foward forever. And theyll never make the advances they want because they cant get past history. If we did that on an international scale we would be, as i said, be North Korea. Even if you dont personnally like another country you deal with them like mature adults in business and politics. I real life you have to deal civilly with people you dont like. You cannot go through life behaving like a bad tempered brat toward everyone who doesnt behave by your standards. That goes the same for nations and their leaders. Many co...    less

    I try not to use cutsy names for adults because i dont like them used for me.  But the kids i work with i use several names: dude, little man, girly, girlfriend, chick, sweety, babe, little dude, my friend, sweet heart.

    No actually.  I like children well enough but when i see someone else with an infant i feel no desire to hold it.    In fact i usually think how blessed it is that i dont have to deal with an infant and that im glad its them and not me. &nb...  moreNo actually.  I like children well enough but when i see someone else with an infant i feel no desire to hold it.    In fact i usually think how blessed it is that i dont have to deal with an infant and that im glad its them and not me.    When the child can walk and talk im good but infants do nothing for me.    When packaged and presented right they seem cute and sweet and cuddly but in reality, infants are noisy, messy,  smelly, funny looking, very expensive and mindless packages of 'No thanks'.  The world need not depend on me for procreative donation.       less
