She believed that they had drilled peepholes into the walls to spy on her when she got undressed.  She couldn't move out immediately because she had signed a six-month lease, and her evil stepmother controlled all of her finances, so she had the building manager move her to a different floor away from them altogether. Additionally, she swore out a complaint at the county courthouse and a judge signed a restraining order. 

    She he lived happily ever after.

    I can't improve on Roald Dahl's version of Little Red Riding Hood in "Revolting Rhymes"

    "The small girl smiles. One eyelid flickers.
    She whips a pistol from her knickers.
    She aims it at the creature's head
    And 'Bang! Bang! Bang!' She shoots it dead.

    A few weeks later, in the wood
    I came across Miss Riding Hood.
