If you KNEW that your fellow ABers HATED your posts about POLITICS, would you STOP?

  • Personally? I think hate is a rather strong word there, excon. They do get a little irritating at times when there are so many but it's easy enough to just avoid them. You have your rights to post what you wish but I think if it was me? I just wouldn't continually post things that people don't like. A few here and there are just fine and I'm sure others would agree.

    Hello R:

It's NOT a matter of numbers to me..  It's a matter of whether my country will survive.  Some people think that's hyperbole.  That's fine.. Some people post stuff that I don't care about, but I don't COMPLAIN.   Look..  I read the newspaper..  I DON'T read EVERYTHING..  I manage to SKIP over the articles that don't interest me, and that doesn't make me mad.

So what is this question about? How does it differ from the ones you try to target, with this question?

Btw, want to save your country, it will most likely not start here at aM with the used methods. I hope for you, that you invest your efforts better/more wisely somewhere else next to here. It would be a shame if they are all wasted here. No complaint from my side, just a little piece of advice for what it's worth.

  • I don't think you've ever seen me complain about anything here and I understand your concern for our country.

    ABers?

I don't care how many questions anyone posts.  It would be nice if they invited discussion, however.

  • If we take it like you took it, it would still make sense.
They are questiones designed to lured you in and then when you answer you get . . . sorta. . . screwed. . . backdoor way like...you know? This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at March 20, 2017 2:02 PM MDT

Yes, if the majority didn't like my posts, I would stop. I would then find another outlet. If I tried to convert the site into my own personal soapbox it would be very selfish. This post was edited by Jane S at August 8, 2017 12:28 PM MDT

No. People are free to skip over any question they don't like, just as I do all of the time.

Without a comma after the first word in your post, it takes on a completely different than it probably should have.

You wouldn't be able to know that, because only the people who read them would be able to determine if they hate it or not. So you claiming that people hate them is just an assumption, and not necessarily a fact. Some people may dislike my posts. That's okay. I can live with that. It's just a post. But if it's anything stronger than dislike, like "hate", well, that would be their problem, and they should go and get themselves a life, if that was the case. But I don't think that is the case.
