I see it as, free speech is a right and also a privilege in ways, compared to other countries/nations. However, one can say what they feel or want in a diplomatic, Kind manner. The way some 'free' speech has been used is to take FULL advantage of it and spew abominable things that could really hurt someone. I think that is what makes us human, differentiating between just blurting out ANY thing we think , or saying it in a way that is effective and states a valid point.
Sitting judges and military personnel do not have the full extent of free speech.
A judge just revealed she cannot be impartial. She should know better.
Military cannot discuss political views either.
I agree with thee

Baybreeze. Trump gets away with saying abominable things that he blurts out. He can't control himself. Yet his supporters seem to adore him for it. Go figger! Thank you for your thoughtful reply and Happy Friday! :)
I'm scared to death my friend. Trump and Clinton seem to be running neck-and-neck according to the polls and the conventions haven't even happened yet. She has outspent him on ads 10 to 1 and look how she is fighting to stay even? I don't get it. All we can do is vote and pray. Thank you for your reply Baba and Happy Friday to you! :)

The 1st amendment is slipping away just as the 2nd and soon the whole constitution.
