Can the Supremes overturn rulings they dislike whenever they want to do so? Who will tell them they are not following the rule of law?
Who can overrule the Supremes? Are they final and only law of the land and there is nothing/no one above them? That would give them complete sovereignty would it not? A runaway train with no brakes?
I don't think so... courts can't make laws... only the government can do that ... the Supreme can only give an interpretation of what that law means... here anyway
Thank you for your reply Ozgirl. They can overturn prior rulings can't they? If an issue comes before the court like Roe vs Wade for example they can overturn it. So how is that NOT changing the law? Thank you for your reply! :)
