Dear Veena.K, Actually yes, that is my hobby, it is fun... I ask myself every day, and keep an eye out for "wrong" things I have not realized before...and then I fix 'em! It is fun...why, to paraphrase Lewis Carroll, "sometimes I fix six impossible things before breakfast!"
I think it is human folly Virginia...most of the time we do what our heart says...logical thinking takes the back seat and well..this situation arises;))
Dear Veena...would you be willing to elaborate a little bit? What is the human folly, is it to worry so often about something wrong with us?
My answer to your Q was kinda making some fun, but at the same time I learn from Buddhist philosophy, you can actually come to see where your unhappiness lies, and make some course corrections... Have I missed your meaning?
Ummm we usually let emotion run over reason..our heart, however, is connected to something bigger than ourselves...we may call it spirit, the unconscious, god, higher-self, or the universe. But, heart doesn't make decisions devoid of passion.....thus human follies and foibles...deep within the recesses of our mind, are the emotions and instincts that have embedded themselves in our genes. However, ever since human beings developed rationality, they also developed the ability to overrule emotions...when in an emotional state we may question...what is wrong with us...! Nah nah dear Virginia....I luv your perception always!
Yes! I have it better now, I think I understand more, thank you Dear Veena. The emotional state of discouragement...where we feel like there is something so badly wrong with us...?
