Did you see the other question she posted about special events this morning? I said what I did here because she mentions she goes to a Chinese buffet afterwards. LOL! :-)
Could it be because you are a little more willing to suck in your gut and bear a bit of discomfort in the shop (with the salesgirl looking), than you are when you get home ? ;-))
ALL OF THE TIME! I don't know how many shirts and pants are just sitting around or end up getting donated because they don't fit once I try to wear them for the first time. And don't get me started on shoes, girl. Now the same brand and type of shoes that I've found to be comfortable are now made in another country and are NOT comfortable. I don't know what I am going to do. Shoe shopping is quite traumatic. And you can't take them back if you wear them outside. How are you supposed to know if they're comfortable by wearing them for 10 minutes in a store? HOW? AHHHHHHHHH!
I have bought several tops over the years that fit really well in the store, once I get them home, they don't fit at all. I don't understand it. I do not lose or gain a dress size in a days time. I know what you mean about the shoes as well. They are comfy when trying them on in the store, you get them home and they are either like clown shoes, or so small your toes end up squashed back to your ankles. Do the cashiers swap them all out before putting them in the bags??????????????
