Nope... nothing to do with politics for me.. there are many women in powerful positions that I greatly admire.. Teresa May for example and I am not a conservative voter... I despised Margaret Thatcher and I hate one woman in particular now... she is .... of my.... and she is an evil cow..bossy, insensitive, nasty... behaves like she feels the only way to get anything done is to quash others and trample them...
SO those are the kinds of top women i hate.. the ones who think they have to be mean and tougher than men to get anywhere... horrible. i feel they are traitors to their kind.. just my opinion but a bad role model imo to try to outdo men by being harder and meaner than they imagine men are...
I saw an interview with Condi Rice on Feherty. He interviews golfers and she LOVES golf!. She said her parents told her that she would have to be TWICE AS GOOD as anyone else to succeed. TWICE AS GOOD. She didn't mention twice as tough but I suspect that a woman has to take on some of the less attractive qualities of men to survive in their world. A sweet, kind, polite, nurturing woman might not be able to compete. I don't know that because I have never been in that rarified atmosphere where I had to outdo anyone. I just did the very best I could and I did pretty well. Luck and kind mentors had a lot to do with it though. Thank you for your reply Addb and Happy Thursday to thee! :)
It's not that women possess power. It's how they use it. No problem with women holding authority here. But like men who have influence and power, I'd rather see it used to further policies and goals that I favor. If I oppose the direction someone's moving in, gender is not the consideration. I believe in equal opportunity when it comes to being dead wrong.
