Or maybe UTC

  • Dear Glis,
I would actually like to see us go on Australian time where it is already tomorrow, so we can live in the future, wouldn't that be nice?

  • No way! I'm on the West coast and it's 6:25 here and if it was East coast time, it would be three hours later! No thanks, I like it like it is! This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at April 7, 2017 8:13 AM MDT

Personally we all know Brits think they invented everything and rule everything.. I think we should all change to GMT Greenwich Mean Time or British Summer Time :P

  • Well I'm this tyrannical nonsense of things that just don't matter.   We should abandon 12 hour clocks too.  All should use 24 hour time and burn all the  12 hour clocks. This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at April 7, 2017 8:40 AM MDT

  • No Randy.   Everyone does know it.

The everyone/everybody distinction is in good running for #1 stupid and unnecessary rule.  I'm just common folk plebe, okay? This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at April 7, 2017 4:21 PM MDT

See how pointless the distinction is?

  • It's the American gold standard.    Everything in North America is supposed to be ET because it all starts here.

  • When I joined in January I was getting an oddball time -- I think it was Mountain Time. Then I adjusted my profile and found that I now get my own local time. (WW's comment, immediately above, shows that it was posted at 12.20am April 8).

  • Dozy! That explains it then...I still get Mountain Daylight Time (MDT), and oh it is just SO inconvenient to be subtracting that hour alla time for my own Pacific Daylight Time... ;)
