How do Tweets and hashtags help anyone?
How is that immigration program working out for the EU/French? Their vetting" process catching all the potential terrorists?
It probably is, from a "liberal's" point of view. So in that case we have to wait for our "fearless leadership" to determine if this was an act of workplace violence or a righteous expression of religious freedom before we can do that.
Well, given (according to news reports) the perpetrator was a native-born French national (whose parents were Tunisian), immigration laws/vetting processes have essentially NOTHING to do with the situation.
But when there's F***ING HADJI and STOOPID EBIL LIBRUHL-bashing to be done, why let inconvenient empirical facts get in the way?....;-D...
No, that's not my style.
While everyone is focused on the 80 or so dead in Nice, about 50-60 people were murdered in Mexico because of the ongoing war between the drug cartels and the Mexican government.
http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/frontline/article/the-staggering-death-toll-of-mexicos-drug-war/
Of course, 80 or so people are unlikely to die tomorrow in Nice from a terrorist attack, or the day after that, or the day after that. Conversely, the daily Mexican murder toll has been going on for years (20,000 annual murders/365 days = 55 per day)
Why are the 80 people in Nice more worthy of our time/attention/worthless sympathy gestures than the victims in Mexico?
Of course, if we were to open our hearts to all the suffering in the world, we would be quickly overwhelmed. We do have to choose which human tragedies we can devote our attention to. But I'm not farming out the decision about which ones matter to me to CNN and US geopolitical interests.
Where did MINE go? It was so useless they didn't bother to post it?
May I remond you that Bush started a war whas as a result of 9/11 and he never caught Bin Laden even though he was right under his nose. It took a Liberal Prez to get the job done. But while we are at it, I think we in the US ought to be watching another form of possible terrorist and their penchant for trucks...
Gee...I love compassionate, inclusive, "re-uniting" conservative Trump supporters Jeeze
Are you saying that it was Bush that caused the planes to fly into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and that field in Somerset County, Pennsylvania? Because that's what started the USA on the pah to military action. Hope you have some proof of that (you don't, all you have is a loud mouth).
But that's OK. Just turn the other cheek and these Islamic terrorists will knock the teeth out of that side of your mouth too. Gonna make it even harder to keep singing kum by yak. Just how incredibly stupid can you be!
Yes, it is.
And that should be obvious to everyone else that has a brain. Because until we recognize the source and come to grips with the fact that these animals aren't going to be pacified by sitting around the campfire and singing folk songs it will continue to escalate, more and more people will die horrible deaths at their hands.
That's Warfare 101, identify the enemy. If you were or are really a US Marine that would be quite obvious to you.
Completely tasteless and unnecessary. Someday it may be someone you love. I hope somebody shows you the same compassion.
Not to mention the ongoing suffering of people that have to LIVE in terrible conditions.
YES! Why didn;t he keep us safe and why didn't he follow up correctly afterwards? The world is going to shit and you know who is the catalyst...
Bush failed us... in every way and Hillary was there holding his hand, yet ironically, Trump is saying the same thing...But he's worse..he profiteered off of America's misfortune and gloats about it.
Here's the thing...Maybe if we weren't meddling in their countries, toppling their governments, occupying their lands...the people you fear so much, wouldn't be waging Jihad against westerners...We've killed more middle easterners in their countries and created atrocities than they have of us.
Just a thought, dude. We reap what what we sow.
