Is it time for an AnswerMug "fad"?

On a previous Q&A site on which I was once a very active participant, we had the bacon, the loonies and the bananas. I haven't seen anything similar here.

I looked at it once, it's been at least a few weeks, maybe a few months. It wasn't memorable. I seem to recollect a graphic that looked like a cross between the Pillsbury Dough Boy and the Michelin Man. The layout was lame and the content was snooze-worthy.

I don't  get the bacon, loonies and bananas references above.

Weylon changed his moniker to Weyloony and the site went crazy for a few days. Ditto when Amber threw a bunch of banana related questions up, almost everyone else started doing it too - I was "Slartibananafast" for a while. May have been before you joined. • I've had a couple of reminders from them in this past week and I didn't even know I was a member. I think I must have joined by mistake while I was looking for aM.

I do think we have similar thing here. Maybe not the same 1:1 thing as we come from various communities, but definitely a theme has its way into profiles and question boards at time.
