  • After this latest escapade I wouldn't be booking a flight with them. I'm sure many other passengers would feel the same way. They may recover but it's going to cost them big in passenger revenue.

  • How many chapter 11s are you allowed?

It does resemble the Monty Python training films..

  • It SHOULD be the end of them! What they did to that guy was shameful. Broke his nose, his teeth, gave him a concussion....for what exactly? To send an employee somewhere? Good grief....these people have too much time on their hands.

They might do. They only went as high as $800 for people to volunteer to get off the flight. I bet they wish they offered more, and kept raising the offers until four people accepted, because the amount of business they're going to lose now could potentially sink them.

  • Yep.. If you are going to shoot yourself in the foot they did a bloody good job of it..
But they should have stopped at the feet... Left the ankles and knees alone

Not to mention to cost of the plane being delayed an additional three hours because of that incident on top of the two hour delay earlier.  That CEO should be looking for another job right now.

I don't think much of courts and those that choose to administer it......I often think that they are more corupt than those they prosecute......   There is a old high court judge that's also a Lord and a peadophille that's his chums want to let him off his crimes because he's ill and old ......
    he should be disposed of......

Far to often I think......a high court judge can never be forced out of office and can do no wrong no matter what her thinks of does.....
they are proffessional  paid liars ....or is that pronounced lawyers ......and their only aim is to fleece every living person that crosses their path......they even have ways of milking the dead....

The pilot and crew all had a responsibility to stop it. They should all be fired. The United Airlines CEO took three attempts to properly apologize. He is and was clueless. He should be fired. The Gestapo cops should be fired for excessive force.

The airline itself should be severly punished financially as a warning to other airlines.

9/11 didn't kill United, so I doubt that this will. They'll change their booking procedure with much fanfare and then everybody will forget it.

I don't think it will be the end for them, but it will be very costly and some heads will roll.
But I would not fly United. Would you?

I flew United once in 1979.  I was quite satisfied.
