When ready for bed, do get into bed, crawl into bed, fall into bed, jump into bed? What dictates your method?

  • It depends on who wants me there, otherwise I just bring my laptop, kind of roll into bed, and watch Netflix until I fall asleep.

It would happen so quickly and automatically that I couldn't possibly remember all the steps involved.

(I suspect it would only take one instantaneous leap in this situation.)

Rehearsal rehearsal rehearsal. Those bed scenes needs lots of practice to be precise. Mhmm.

Contact side of bed, sit, rotate 90 degrees while raising legs, lie back.

Move into a house with a larger bedroom---which means the bed is father away than you think it is---and you will never skip the "contact the side of bed" part of the protocol.

I crawl into bed because I'm a dork that still sleeps in a loft bed. It sure saves a lot of floor space and it has a desk and bookcase underneath so that's cool.

I used to have a huge king size bed but it took a ridiculous amount of space so I eventually sold it and bought something more practical, even if it is kind of dorky.

I make a leap of faith and usually hit my head on the headboard.

  • Usually it's sort of "collapse" into bed.
Think of 9/11 with a 1000 thread count and big, fluffy pillows
