What's a dog to do?

Friends, I have a serious dilemma on my hands and need your help.   My personality and devilish good looks are all in my expressive eyebrows and silky beard.  I thought all those cookies were a trap but, I just couldn't help myself.  My mistress set me up!  She shaved me down!  I now look like a freaky deaky Chihuahua and not the handsome Yorkie mix that I truly am.  I am SO FUGLY!

Tomorrow I go back to doggie daycare.  I will admit that I have had a problem getting along with other dogs but, I am much better now.  I have a bevy of beauties there that I play with.  They LUV me.  Call them my own personal harem if you wish.  BUT, without my luxurious locks, how will they recognize me?  I am afraid they will leave me for Bruno, who is always trying to steal them away.

HELP!  What do I say to all my little girlfriends to keep them from throwing me over for a hairier guy?

  • They'll know you by sniffing you. Dogs know each other by scent!

I figured they would eventually get around to the business end of things.  But, that Bruno is crafty and I am afraid he will ensure they don't get close enough to figure it all out!

Rooster I edited in this additional comment.  (Sixth Sense: a supposed intuitive faculty giving awareness not explicable in terms of normal perception). FYI

  • Hah!

The fact that your ears look twice as big isn't going to help your cause.  Thankfully they'll remember that pungent stench that thankfully humans are not aware of.  Bottoms-up!

I don't get the humor of people pretending they are animals.  Sorry.

Many say that dogs have a  sixth sense if the nose don't nose they'll use that sixth sense to reconnect.

Thank you Beans!  This gives me hope!  I might decide to report back at some point this week just to annoy Sharonna. ;-)

WOW! Someone definitely got carried away with the clippers, didn't they?

Regarding your girlfriends, if they only love you for your looks, they're really not worth your time. :)

Thank you Savvy.  Yes, the clippers were on full tilt.  She mumbled something about ticks being really bad this year.

As for my girlfriends, you may be right but I am a very neurotic dog from being badly abused at one time.  I admit I live a great life now but I am still very insecure.  My girlfriends really pump up my ego.

If you can't charm them, bribe them. Go to day care baring gifts. Dog treats should help. You are looking gorgeous, Harry. Don't worry. :)

Thank you for the compliment but I know how I really look.  My beautiful eyebrows that made me look like a tough guy are gone gone gone!  :-(

What you propose is an intriguing, and I believe, an excellent idea dragonfly.  Bribery sounds like it might just do the trick.  Thank you! :-)

Oh Pearl!  I talk all the time!  Unfortunately, my mistress doesn't understand a dang word I am saying but I keep on trying.  Part of any good & healthy relationship is recognizing each of us must hold up our end of the conversation.
