This will absolutely KILL all Obama HATERS. He will receive the Kennedy "Profile in Courage" award. Yes he will. Why?

I think it is because he SURVIVED  8 years of HATRED and undermining and attacks from "the opposition". He survived DESPITE all attempts to sabotage his presidency and not because of all the help he got along the way. That should really tick off his haters  big-time. Wonder how they're gonna deal with it? Minimize it? Ridicule it? All because they hate him so much or because deep down they know they could never accomplish what he has in a zillion years and can't stand it?

    And more to the point - he survived with dignity and his humour intact... Those are things Trump never had in the first place and never will.

  • There's a form of paranoia that's afoot in the land that would lead one to believe that all those who disagree with the former president are some kind of "Obama Haters". One of the hallmarks of a free society is that disagreement is allowed. It's almost a comic opera that those who unleash such acidic, vitriolic, spiteful and shrill attacks on the current administration, are those who identify the "haters" among us. But, getting back to the award mentioned above, it's a case of liberals honoring liberals. Is there supposed to be a surprise in this?

    Ahh so they won't be awarding Trumpet anything then? Cos he's not a liberal? Ahhh so that's how it works...all those who have been awarded ever are libs... I see...

    And you are right, of course, about the paranoia or phenomenon whereby anyone who disagrees with this or that political persuasion  is called a hater.. just remember it works both ways...

    With respect.. and I really hope you know I am teasing... but... I suspect Rosie is going to have to join the end of a very, very, very long queue in terms of those who abuse him... I think he has more to worry about than Rosie

    Oh, I don't asume that either ol' Don is worried about Rosie and what she thinks of him or that the numbers of detractors he has concerns him. 

    I hope also that anyone reading my post above knows that it's pure sarcasm. Some people don't get that kind of thing.

    In all honesty Randy... I think that the Brit style of sarcasm and the American differ somewhat... so it's true that I sometimes do miss things because of the very subtle differences in how we use language..

    Just a hopefully interesting aside...but I assume you know Obama really wasn't fond of us Brits... and yet we had a fair bit of respect for him generally speaking...perhaps more than any other recent Prez
