Apparently. Someone messaged me today and informed me that they had on good authority we were going to close soon. They also let me know that everyone here is going to leave when you start your new site. *face palm* At any rate, I am really glad that they got the news on good authority and told me about it, because otherwise I might not have known and I could have gone my whole life with not knowing. That would have been a tragedy.

I don't think it's dying, but most of my friends on here have been somewhat inactive lately. I only see about an eighth of them on here these days compared with three or four months ago. Why do you think that is, Camel?

I don't think it's dying, but I think half of my friends are no longer active on here - they've moved on to other places. I'm curious to see how the new site looks like though!

No and we can't listen to the ones who want to see it go down.

Success is the best revenge, so let's keep moving forward.

Summer time can be tough for most web sites.

People are on vacation or doing outside activities and are spending less time on sites like this. It will pick up when summer is over.

I don't know.  I hope not.  I think it would be great if the crybabies and political addicts evaporated, but that's just me.  We have to let everyone have a seat.  I know some who have stopped coming here or come very rarely in favor of other sites.  It's good to have choices.  I spend some time on a couple of other sites too.        '

I sent you a PM earlier.

  • No more than any other website that isn't Facebook, Twitter, or Amazon.

lol, My new site is not even related to this type of site...

I doubt many of these people will be interested.

I think I told you about the site a couple months ago...

I have theories but I don't care to share them. I really would like to see 60+ online at a time again.

No one wants to see their baby die, even if they did put it up for adoption. :)

  • Sadly, it doesn't have the feel and energy it used to have. It's just not as fun on here as it used to be.

I think this site has a lot of potential.  I haven't been here long enough to see growth or decline, but I have seen other sites that I know won't last on the fumes they are running on.

New members are welcomed pretty quickly and there are a lot of great conversationalists here.

    I'm personally rooting for it.
