    Depends on the situation. You can't be overdressed at a job interview (okay, a cravat might be overdoing it a little), you can't be underdressed in the bedroom (stark bollock naked is acceptable).

  • I think is safer generally to be overdresses in any circumstances. If you wear casual clothing to formal or dress events, you are tres gauche. If you wear too many clothes in warm weather, you can remove some of them.

    Don't like either. If possible I prefer to go back and change.

    I'd say overdressed is the safer option.
