One day at a time. Listen to music that comforts you. Set priorities and focus on those. Look at beautiful art. Soft colors have a calming effect. If it is caused by illness, you have to consider that it takes the body time to heal itself. Write. Writing down what bothers you helps, and soon you begin to get a different perspective of what the problem is. Write poetry. If it is about the heart, poetry helps. If you can't write it, read it.
Used to drink wine but I've decided to stop drinking and smoking anything for a month, cos I wanna. ....so pacing around my house works to fix a string of bad days ...No , no it does not. Maybe I'll hang upside down in some gravity boots then.
Haha :) I really did buy gravity boots at a flea market a few years back. they come with a rod you hang in a door frame. Then strap on hang upside down. Was all good till I realized I had no idea how get down.... Lots of bruises and hyperventilating tears that night ;)
I used them years ago and loved them. The gravity bed is similar, but it's a freestanding unit with sort of a nylon cot that tilts you from upright to upside down. Don't know why I like the boots better, but I do.
I honestly thought you were kidding about the bed :) cool , you are the first person I've met who has also used gravity boots:) I couldn't Suss them:/ I took up a hobby a few years ago that requires me to be upside down at times . I thought the gravity boots would help. Nope , they did not help me cos I'm a spazz ;)
Most welcome. Your post and all the good songs made me smile, too. And...gravity boots! (People think I'm drunk when I mention them...has no one else heard of them? lol)
