    Granny used to make apple jelly from their orchard. Funny stuff but I've never seen apple Jam.

    I'd rather make cider.

     We lived in Massachusetts for 5 years decades ago and I just loved the pressed cider,  MacIntosh apples and cheddar cheese. In the autumn roadside stands would crop up in our neck of the woods (we lived in east Acton about 20 miles from Boston) and you get get all kinds of wondrous delights. Funny though. Now that you mention it I've never seen apple jam either. Maybe because the fruit doesn't hold up and turns into applesauce! Thank you for your reply Malizz and Happy Monday! :)
