I think somewhere around two days. Once you hit the day-and-a-half mark, nothing makes sense anymore and your memory is shot. There was one time a few years ago that I was trying to hit a deadline for work and only got something like 8 hours of sleep in 4 days or so. I took little cat naps and then went back to work right after. It was ugly. All rationality left my brain. After that, I vowed I'd never let it get that bad. There are still times I'll binge work and get like 2-3 hours of sleep before I have to take my kids to school, but I tend to grab a few more hours after they're gone. I don't do well on no sleep at all. It makes me nuttier than I already am.
hehheh Your not nutty, just miss understood. I once had insomnia for a year. DIdnt sleep more than a week the entire time. Lost bits of my mind and never got it back. Never been the same. ;O
I don't know. There were many mornings I got up from my desk, took a shower, and went back to the office. That was during the single parent/full time job/full time law school years.
Over 35 hours. The result of an early morning flight and a long day that followed. My best friend and I were on a trip to Denver, it was 98 degrees that day, and I walked over two miles on no sleep. What a day.
