.
Very true. Those are live in terror of Muslim terrorists conveniently forget what the Christians did to those who disagreed. Convenient memories. Selective. Untrue. Thank you for your reply BSurf! :)

Man's laws and rules do not superceed Gods laws...there are ten of them I believe.
We must remember that the Bible was written by men...So this Leviticus guy was stating his own opinion.
Correct. Not among them is there
anything about LGBT. Thank you for your reply Ele and Happy Monday! :)
You are absolutely, totally, unequivocally and irrefutably correct Ele! Thank you for reminding us of that FACT! :)

You gratuitously "forget" that the whole thing in the Middle Ages was caused by a Muslim invasion of Europe. The Christian Crusaders were gentle missionaries compared to the brutal tactics employed by the Moors when they invaded Spain and France. Made it all the way to Austria before they were stopped. At least the western world got coffee out of the deal . . .

God said to love what is good and hate what is evil..
So i hate lesbianism homosexuality and all other forms of sexual perversity outside the natural Man / woman married sexual activity..
Note:: hating sin and hating the sinner are two TOTALLY different things..
One can hate homosexuality while at the same time loving the Homosexual
One can hate Lesbianism while at the same time loving the Lesbian..
One can hate sin but greatly desire the eternal salvation of the sinner..
The same goes for other things like Islam.. I Hate islam because it is a deception leading people away from the truth of Jesus towards the eternal lake of fire.. I love muslims because they are my fellow human beings who are deceived and heading for eternal destruction my desire is to see them saved from judgement and destruction.. Even when they want to slit my throat by waging jihad against me...
Hello A:
Nahhh... You can SAY you don't hate 'em. But, LEGISLATING against them speaks much LOUDER than your words..
excon
@excon
I have never been in government nor do i vote,, and so i have never legislated anything against anyone..
Seems you simply cannot deal with what i actually said, So like so many others you respond by lying and putting positions and actions upon me that i have never had or did.. Typical anti-christ thing to so..
Hello again, Adam:
Nahh.. Just because you don't vote and don't pass bills does NOT mean you don't support right wing legislation..

Most people do not even recognize the 10 Commandments.
That is a small faction of those who believe in God.
There is nothing in the 10 Commandments that speaks of reviling or loving anyone but your parents. Not that you should dismiss everyone else, but there is no numbered commandment about loving or hating anyone.
4. Honor thy Father and thy Mother.
That's it.
5. Thou shalt not kill
Those are the closest ones.
Then number 8 says not to spread gossip and lies about someone.
8. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.
The Ten Commandments says nothing about LGBT. That said, there are several places elsewhere in the Bible that speaks of homosexuality as being unnatural and a detestable and abominable sin. Yes God is a God of love but He is also a God of justice. Justice is a term used for what is right or “as it should be.” Justice is one of God’s attributes and flows out of His holiness. Justice and righteousness are often used synonymously in the Bible. Since righteousness is the quality or character of being right or just, it is another attribute of God and incorporates both His justice and holiness.
That being said, God’s own righteousness is provided as a gift to sinners who accept Jesus Christ as their Savior and is based upon His grace and mercy in response to our faith. His mercy and grace are not in spite of His justice, but because of it. He loved us so much that despite the fact that our sin demands our death, He sent His Son to be our substitute upon the cross, thus demonstrating that His justice was not violated, but instead satisfied.
We humans tend to paint God the way we want to see Him or the way we think He should be. If a person wants to view God as He really is, read the Bible from cover to cover instead of trying to fit Him into our own tiny, narrowminded, preconceived world.
This is an issue of flesh, according to the bible, all are condemned of their flesh. Gay, straight, etc., irrelevant.
Those who attempt to judge the flesh minimize the power of God to forgive all through his Son and sacrifice. They attempt to steal the throne of God, they wish to be judges themselves... not too far removed from Lucifer. That is, according to the book.
Jesus told the Pharisees that rather pointedly. And they killed him for it, big shocker.
I do not support making the Laws of God the Laws of State.....
My desire is for people to follow the laws of God out of their Faith in God.. Not because they are in fear of legal retribution from the state law enforcement apparatus..
Not stealing because you believe God and want to follow His teachings is a good thing..
Not stealing because you fear getting convicted by a court of state and imprisoned is a bad thing..
You keep on projecting but your projector is wrong excon..
Wow! Pithy. Succinct! Nifty insight m'dear. Thank you for your reply S1UMN and Happy Tuesday! :)

Thank you for your reply FNR.

How can a male be a "bride" Kg? I have never heard that. Doens't mean it hasn't been around though. I just have never it before
. Thank you for your reply and Happy Tuesday to thee! :)
That is very true. Thank you for your reply PLS and Happy Tuesday to you! :)

The Bride of Christ and bridesmades is featured in the parables of Jesus. The interpretation of it is that the Bride is symbolic of the body of Christian believers who will be united with Jesus in Eternity.. When Jesus returns the process is likened to a marriage feast.. So yes both male and female believers are part of the Symbolic Bride of Christ..
Hey, gonna answer your question, although I should warn you that I am non practicing christian, but my parents use to make me read their stuff, so this is just what I know. Don't try to debate me if you disagree with what I am going to say, because I am not a pastor or a bishop to satisfy all your queries. If you want to find better answers, google is your friend. Okay here I go:
As fas as I know nothing appears related to the LGBT community on the ten commandments. The "You shall not commit adultery" applies to everyone.
However on leviticus 20:13 this qoute appears: "If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads"
This would definitely apply to the lgbt community assuming that this can be applied to gay men, lesbians and bisexual people. Think of it whatever you want.
As far as I know God is love. He hates sin, but not the sinner.
I would say the the westboro baptist church would qualify as a hate group, just as the catholics when they were in the middle ages. Don't know How they behave now, since I haven't gone to a Mass in 15 years.
I don't promote anything. As long as nobody tries to shove their ideas in my head I am cool with everyone. Live and let live. That sort of thing.
There. I hope this satisfies you.
Thank you for your reply OW and Happy Monday.
