I have been a member of various clubs and societies throughout life.  I'm am generally not a joiner.  I did enjoy belonging to a literary society when I was young as well as various other academic and legal organizations when I was older.  However, garden, country,  and civic clubs are not my thing at all.  Oh, I  loved being part of a dinner club and a book club for a long time.  I've moved so maybe I'll find another book club.

  • As a teen I was a member of the JCs for a time and a karate club (sucked!) As an adult I was in a pipe band for about 10 years, so that is sort of a club.
