I have a beaten up Kia Rio that was brand new when I bought it in 2006.

    No.  I didn't have a license in the 60s or 70s.  Didn't learn to drive until I was 40.

The first car I bought I pulled out of a junk yard in 1979 for $200,  A dark green 1963 AMC Rambler.
Should have left it in the junkyard.  It didn't matter how much money I threw at it to fix it up, it didn't last long.

Not really a muscle-car but very cool nevertheless.

LOL. I missed the muscle part and was focused on gas guzzler.   Although, as a young teenage girl, I didn't know much and thought it was a cool guy's kind of car.  The next one I had was a red '72 Camaro.  Another piece of crap car but when it did run, it was a lot of fun to drive.

  • The closest I ever got to a "muscle car" was a 1968 Chevrolet El Camino.
It had the second biggest 327 engine available (no Corvette heads),
four-on-the-floor and posi-traction. It was pretty fast. It looked just like
the one in the picture ... except mine wasn't a "SS".

    Had a 1970 Charger 500...though with a 318, I really wouldn't call it a "gas guzzler".  My 1970 Charger R/T with a 440 police motor and a 750 double-pumper Holley...yeah, that one qualifies.
