No, not in competition but often at odds. Science explains what God has done or rather how and proving almost with every discovery NOT the possibility but the probability of a Creator. The Holy Bible then explains why as is his plan for the humanity made in his image.

If you are opposed to science do not avail yourself of modern medicine, modern satiation, safe water, reliable food supplies, home electronics, shall I go on?
God has always inspired scientists to help bring us out of the dark ages of ancient mythological beliefs and into the light of reality. What kind of science should be dumped?
