Which book do you wish they made into a movie?

    Yes, it has to be a good version.  I agree.  LOL

    I cannot believe it, but every book I wish was made into a movie really was.    They did a great job of Lord of the Rings, I never thought they would pull that off.  I read that 40 years ago or longer and I never thought I'd see it the way they did it on the big screen.  That was the best gift ever to me.  And The Hobbit. 

    I would like to see Dune and all the books of Dune done the right way.  They keep messing it up and not really portraying the books in any manner that makes it interesting.

    I would like to see text books made into interesting movies.   I would much rather study by watching an interesting movie than reading some dry book.  Whoever can make that translate onto the big screen will be the next multi-billionaire.

     I read the short story; "Duel", in Playboy magazine back in the 70's. They made that into a great little  movie soon after.

    Shadow Diver.

    They made a movie from the book but it was never released. Not even in DVD.

    The movie got tied up in legal battles for some reason.
