When did Trump ever listen to anything anyone ever said Spunky? He does what he dam* well pleases because he is so much smarter than anyone else( just ask him)and because he is prez and who is gonna tell  a prez what to do? However this time he is pipqueakly silent. Has he met his match in Comey and relinquished the role of attacker/defender? Will he now let his 2 little boys tweet for him and the very small  little attorneys make statements not under oath and take no questions? Those surrogates are jokes . No one is laughing. Well, they must have read him the riot act because he has refrained from doing it.  Perhaps his attorneys told him that if he spouted something in a particular way, he would support Comey's testimony. 

I think he must be furious! All the venom is building up and he will simply explode or have a heart attack/stroke. Time will tell. What do you think is gonna happen next Spunky? Thank you for your reply! :)

I'm answering this retrospectively as Trump has already declared himself to have been the winner in the skirmish with Comey, which is wishful thinking on his part.  I don't know who else is going to come before the Burr/Warren committee or what they will say, so I guess we'll have to wait and see.  I think the more important investigation will be Mueller's. 

I totally agree with thee (SURPRISE! NOT.). Here's what I worry about though. Is it legally possible for Trump to shut Mueller down? I'm sure he is dying to do exactly that and I just wonder if having broken all rules/law/protocols/tradition thus far and gotten away with it will he also attempt to do that? I'm not sure if Trump can shut Mueller down.  Since Mueller is acting by order of a Congressional Committee, I'm not sure a president has the power to shut it down.  I think at this point, even if he could, it would be an indictment of Trump and all his buddies.  He certainly could have tried to exert executive privilege over Comey and he didn't which leads me to think that Trump knows it would be in his own best interests not to shut Mueller down.
