    Not my MO.

My brother lied, cheated, stole and had people who knew us both back him up.  Because it benefitted them.

I think people on the path to truth oftentimes are tested sorely.   I have been tested beyond what I thought I could handle.  I am still standing.

I think sometimes God invites you in by showing you the fire and seeing if you will jump ship or trust Him to guide you if you but listen.   one of the things we all must face is standing tall when all those around you that you trust, become betrayers of that trust.

I know who my friends are, I know who to trust now.  And those creeps that claim to be related to me, are never coming in to darken my life now.   I forgive them.  That was the hardest part.  I need to take care of me and forget the wrong I was done.    It is the hardest thing I had to walk through so far.

I don't fit the  Einstein profile. I don't forgive. I don't believe in revenge. I do ignore when I can because there are some replies I get that I never read. Why? Because I already know that it will be insulting. Here's how I figger it. I am under no obligation to allow people to cause me grief. Ignoring the ones who do is my ONLY weapon. It costs nothing and is always available to me. I don't know if that means I am intelligent or that I am simply trying to survive. The instinct of survival is very strong. Thank you for your thoughtful reply. The hardest thing to accept is when people you trusted betray you or abandon you or turn on you. But it happens. We move forward. :)
