Possibly the most transparent lie Comey has come out with.
He is terrified that tapes exists. Trump wouldn't release a tape unless it supported his version of events, would he? If Comey were telling the truth and Trump had a tape that incriminated himself, he'd destroy it.
So the existence of a tape would obviously prove Trump innocent and possibly send Comey down for perjury. Yes that's something I hope for.

He wouldn't DESTROY them, he'd ALTER them. It's not hard to do. Ergo, if Trump has them they're inadmissible - unreliable source.

Photoshop makes photographic evidence easy to tamper with. Tapes are even easier to alter or even fabricate entirely - so if there WEREN'T tapes, you can bet your a$$ there are now or soon will be, as soon as Trump's team splice together enough of Comey's public recordings to invent something plausible.

Is the tampering undetectable Sbf? If so then the entire charade takes an even more evil essence. As is true of everything Trump. That is beyond disgustingly shocking. But anything coming from Doofus Donny will be a lie so why am I that distressed? If YOU know then THEY know too, right? The "they" being Comey and others who WANT proof that what he said about the meetings is 100% true AND DOOFUS and the toadies who know that everything DOOFUS said is a lie. Where does it end?
