I could have said Icehouse, Queen or the Beatles, but Floyd did some unmitigated cr@p (particularly early when they were all off their nuts on acid) as well as their brilliant stuff - even the worst of it wasn't as bad as Eminem.
You've been listening to too many half-a$$ed sopranos trying to be colaraturas is my guess. The true colaratura is rare, most singers can't cut it and try beyond their range - and yes, it's a screech.
I played Papageno in a local production of Die Zauberflöte (the Magic Flute) years ago - he's a baritone, something like the vid posted.

A coloratura soprano has the ability to hit and sustain notes above C6, with a tessitura from A4 to A5 or higher - your average soprano has a tessitura below G5. Classical music term.
Thanks for answering, whistle6 -- I do add that I agree with Slartibartfast about the half-a$$ed sopranos! Ha! I recommend, too, The Magic Flute. :) And I like several songs by the Backstreet Boys, even if you don't know anything about them. Thanks for your fun answer. :)

Pff. He doesn't sing, he just talks - with the vocabulary of a drug-addicted amoeba. There is never a need to descend to lyrics like "motherf***er" just to make it scan.
Rap is crap, get the news fool It got no tune and that ain't cool White fellas tryin' to be niggas are a joke That dude ain't gangsta, just a limp d!ck bloke So learn to play an instrument or shut the f**k up Or yo' be beggin' fo' change an' gettin' nothin' in yo' cup Word. *Drops mic*
I sometimes like the extremes of questions like this and the thoughts of everyone. I don't know very much of Eminem's stuff. I don't think I may agree, though, ha! I think there'd be more songs by others that I would like before Eminem's worst. Yet, again, I admit I haven't heard a lot of his music. Thanks for answering, carbonproduct! :)
