    Tried immersion theraapy. Didn't work, just gave her nightmares.

    She's a little better now, if I'd understood what caused it she wouldn't have gone that way. It was her choice but I'd have dissuaded her had I known. Frightened by a clown as a preschooler, that I knew. Reinforced by an abusive bf as a teen, that I didn't.

  • It is understandable.  Some clown's make up and dress are too outlandish and their actions to brash.  No wonder young children are afraid of them.

    Hi Element~ I always wanted to help people be happy and I've found clowns don't really meet that orientation.  I was and still am interested in theatrical makeup.  So, on that note, it would have been fun to play with the faces. :)
