    Does your religion allow you to drink alcohol?

    ======================================

    The HQ concedes that there is benefit in drinking but says that the harm in the practice exceeds the benefit and for the good of the individual, the family and society it therefore forbids drinking and any participation in activities that make drinking possible. The damage to the individual, the family and to society that can result from drinking is well documented.

    That drinking befogs the mind is so indisputable that many countries have laws that ban people from driving if they have freely consumed alcohol.

    I have no religion anymore. So, I'm free to become an alcoholic if I choose to be one.
