I'd never even heard of this wow! I agree that the earth provides us with wonderful , natural energies, but food itself IS an energy. (with nutrients and minerals our skin and bones NEED). Plus I think they'd be VERY VERY thin if they only eat a broth a couple times a week.. so hmmmm???? That almost sounds like an anorexic diet (under 800 calories a day) yet they are not 'very' thin.  My thoughts are that humans need food and water, each day and that existing only on breath/air/energy will not jive with many bodies physically; many feel actually weak after a day of no food ... it is a nice concept but I think it is that ; more a concept. Ty for posting it J !! Interesting..

"The couple have survived on little else besides a piece of fruit or vegetable broth just three times per week since 2008"
That is not eating 'nothing', so my guess would be selective memory topped with bit of exaggeration.

Remember the story about stone soup? Made from nothing but a stone, but it gets better with a few veggetables added, and, and, and, ... etc.
