    Emotional pain. There's no upside. Physical pain I can tolerate, I endured years of agony but it made me stronger. Spritual pain often leads to an epiphany - I've been there, too. Mental pain I don't know much about and I'm not certain it exists - most people with a mental deficiency are unaware of it, even Alzheimer's sneaks up on you.
    Nothing good comes of emotional pain.

     Can you let it go or is it always part of you Sbf? There's this ONE HUGE THING that stays with me. Ebb and flow. I don't think it about 24/7 but it's never far away and sometimes all of a sudden there I am reliving it again. I'd like to let it go but I don't know how.
