Is there a movie in which you remember the opening theme song more than the movie itself?
Mine is from "Those Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines" ~ a fun theme! If you've not heard it - - at least wait until the 0:26 seconds-or-so mark when the men start singing
My, this is nice! I only saw this movie once and must not have paid too much attention to the music maybe. I like the behind-the-scenes images in this video! :)
This version sounds more like it may have been directly from the movie score to the movie. The other one had sort of a rhythmic drum beat going through the whole thing I think? At least, this version has that "Barry Sound." After listening to these pieces so close together, I hear a very similar style to Barry's music in these movies. It's all good, though! :)
One of my favorite soundtracks and it's easy to see why you may not have noticed the music. It fits into the movie seamlessly, like it's just part of the picture and not a song to add mood.
Sorry for the intrusion. It's a great soundtrack!!
I thought Kevin Costner directed this movie? I know he stars in it but I thought he directed it, too
I'm confused now on which movie we're all talking about, ha! All the comments are jumbling in my head! Ha! Anyway, I'm talking here about "Dances with Wolves." :)

- - from the Movie "Frances" (about the actress Frances Farmer; Jessica Lange was phenomenal in the movie and she bears a striking resemblance to the real Farmer)
My favorite parts of this movie have always been Margaret Hamilton as "The Wicked Witch of the West/Almira Gulch" and the tornado scene during the black-and-white/sepia beginning portion of the film. The tornado scene still scares me. As does Hamilton! :)
Yes, this music was posted to one of my other questions somewhere. Or maybe it wasn't one of my questions but I've heard it recently somewhere on the site - - nice music! :)
