Trump supporters are carrying signs saying "Big Government Sucks". But, I'm just wondering....

Hello:

How much government is it gonna take to deport 12 million people??  How much government will it take to build a 4,000 mile wall?  How much government will it take to POLICE 150 million uterus's?

Just sayin...

By the way..  These ARE planks in the recently adopted Republican Platform..

The people carrying "Dabgum Big Gubmint Sucks" signs typically want the Dabgum Big Gubmint to keep its hands off of their Medicare....;-D...

I thought Ayn Rand was more of a Libertarian hero and than a Republican one?

@Rpf --- There are more doctrinaire Objectivists/Libertarians who do not associate with the GOP, just as there are people on the political left who do not associate with the Democratic Party.

However, within the GOP there is a subset of people (for example, current House Speaker/2012 VP candidate Paul Ryan) who claim that Randian philsophies are a big influence on their political thinking.

Such people are not natural political allies with the Bible-thumping contingent of the GOP. The Rand wing hates the federal government on a philosophical level. The Baby Jesus wing hates the federal government because it won't let state/local governments impose the kinds of things (prayer in school, discrimination against LGBT people, banning abortion, making N*gg*rs drink for separate drinking fountains, etc.) the Baby Jesus wing wants.

The rise of presidential candidate Trump is a reflection of the breakdown of this alliance of convenience within the Republican Party.

As for the 12 million, no Gov. we use hicks from hick States and they use their own ammo. 4,000 m. wall we use the Mexicans before we kick them to the curb, and I'll get some ideas about the uterus's.

@excon, a lot of Trump supporters are not conservatives. There is a big difference between protecting our country by building a wall, and the feds telling states that boys are girls must share the same bathroom.

Capitalism:  The Unknown Ideal.  By Ayn Rand   I read this thing.  It made sense once upon a time.  When I didn't know better.   Now I realize I don't know anything.

    Hello again, not:

As noted, they're NOT the same..  But, my post isn't about social issues..  It's about MONEY..  In that vein, ONE of the programs you mentioned won't cost a dime..  The other one will cost untold $$ billions.

@excon, your question is about big government. I was just pointing out the difference between what big government should and shouldn't do. The money is another aspect of it.
