I realized after I posted that you were probably much younger than me.  When I was your age, I don't think they had Uggs.  Sorry.  :)

  • No worries :) I asked you your age before I saw your answer. :) as sad as it is that's the only thing I can think of all the woman my age have had in common at same time :) I'm sure there's a better answer ... but that was my first thought :)

I'd like to think by the time you're 50+, most women come to accept who they are and are happy with themselves.  At 71, I know I am.

Women my age rarely tell their age without having been given good reason.

For me, there's nothing to hide.  I'm proud to have reached this age and still look presentable. :)

That is where I am at.  I haven't aged badly at all.  I think it helps that many of us don't let ourselves look frumpy, just because we are older.

Exactly.  It's also being able to keep up with what younger folks are doing  We don't necessarily have to do the same things, just know they exist.

    (In no particular order.)

    10) Even though less attention is focused on their attractiveness than is focused on women 10, 20 or 30 years younger than they are, the opposite should be true: more attention should be focused on them. Sexy, sexy, sexy.

    9) Many of them have been in multiple relationships throughout their lives.

    8) Not a lot of them can be taught new tricks, they are set in their ways.

    7) The majority of of them are mothers. Some are even grandmothers.

    6) They're not likely to enjoy strenuous exercise as a way to keep in shape and/or to maintain their health.

    5) Very few of them are virgins.

    4) Their tastes in music is closer to mine than would be for younger women.

    3) A lot of them have years of experience taking care of others, either in their personal lives, in their professions, or a combination of both.

    2) Only about 50% of them "get" my tilde affliction.

    1) At least one, if not more, body part has been replaced, repaired, removed, retouched, rearranged, rerouted, reorganized, realigned, reduced, reset, readjusted, remarked, or reassembled.

There are several categories of yours into which I don't fit, especially #1.  I have not had any work done - what you see is 100% natural. :)

Most women my age are dead.

Most women my age don't exaggerate as much as I do either.

Most women my age are enjoying retirement.   I am starting a new career.  I am not bragging.  I am desperate and have no money.
