Take 20,000 lbs of dough, 3000 lbs of sauce and 5000 lbs of cheese and a mobile oven and you get a mile-long pizza. Wanna slice?

It happened in California. A mobile oven moved over the pizza at a temperature of 1000 degrees and took about two hours to "bake" it. Pizza slices were then distributed to the homeless. This broke the Guinness world record for largest pizza. Took many participants to make it.  TEAMWORK. Has a nice ring to it doesn't it?

Pizza needs care and love with simple, yet pristine ingredients.

Dumping a batch of stuff in a cement mixer to get results is no pizza I care to try.

I'd love a slice but I'd offer it to a person who was homeless. I love that story! I hadn't heard about it.

The story caught my eye WQ. I'm a Foodie so anything food-related appeals to me. There are all kinds of groups all over the world specifically doing things just so they will be listed in the Guiness Book of World Records,. There's a certain cachet to it that must be drawing them in. Giving your pizza slice to a homeless person is precisely what I would have expected of you my friend. Wouldn't you have LOVED to have seen that machine do its thing? There sure are a lot of inventive people in the world. Wish I were one of them! Thank you for you reply m'dear! :)
