Have you ever found a forgotten food container in the fridge and choked on the stench when you opened it?

One time I hid a bag of vegetables in my filing cabinet and forgot about them. Some time after that I started to smell a mysterious rancid stench. After several days, I searched to find what was behind the horrid odor and found that it was strongest by the filing cabinet, so I opened it and uncovered a bag of liquefied veggies. It smelled just like a dead animal, I didn't know they could get so smelly or that they could just liquefy like that.

  • That is impressive.  I'm reminded of a time of shovel out a potato cellar where many of the potatoes had turned to liquid like that.  The stench was intense.

Well, sort of.  IT wasn't food though.  It was a left-over human head I'd forgotten about.

You have to forgive me, I have been so busy with school learning how to heal people and all, I forgot to feed that to the birds and coyotees.

When it's been in there long enough to evolve into a semi-intelligent life form, I don't open it. I chuck it container and all.

I am pretty good at cleaning out the fridge, but once in awhile I will miss something and it stays in there longer then it should.
