During interviews actors/actresses often say it's more fun to be a bad guy/gal than a good one. Is that what makes some MEAN?It's MORE FUN?

Actors/actresses say there is a greater range in bad than good. More levels, more nooks and crannies, more ways to stand out and be noticed. More idiosyncracies/twitches/tics/erratic/ bizarre/quirks. You could say Good is vanilla and Bad is tutti-fruitti. Couldn't you?

I've always liked being the bad guy when playing pretend as a child, but in reality I'd rather be nice. It's different when you're just acting.

This is reality.  Not movies.   I don't think most people can tell the difference any more.

  • Maybe playing the bad guy is more challenging for them, and therefore makes the roll mite fun.
