Just received a "Fatal Error" message from AM. Now I'm not feeling so good.

Should I go to the ER? The Geek Squad? My proctologist? Help me please. I feel so alone.

  • I've noticed last few times I've been online people posting questions about error messages on this site. I've not had one yet. I WIN!!! ;p

Looks like they want it to go on without me.  I feel bitter and gassy and heartbroken.

Oh, okay, thanks. The gas is subsiding a little. But my dog doesn't look too happy with me.

You'll be fine. However, you have fatally wounded answerMug and will have to answer to JA.

I stand by "so good." Now can we call off the grammar police escort? I prefer to ride solo. This post was edited by LyricalOne at July 5, 2017 8:35 AM MDT

  • Fatal.  What would be the point of the ER?  Get shriven and get going.

My casket awaits! Be a pal and throw a laptop in with me. I don't want to miss anything.

  • Sure.  I'll also provide snacks. Triscuits and some nice homemade hummus while you're in the humus.

Ouch. Heard that's incredibly painful. What is it that makes them hurt so much? Are they like shards of glass? Do they press on vital organs?

Fatal errors usually occur because the action you tried to complete is tied to something that no longer exists. There's generally a very tiny window where you can get those- almost always because you opened a page and the content was removed while you were on it. For example, you may have "liked" a post that has since been deleted or tried to answer a question that was removed while you posted. If you have ongoing issues with it, please use the feedback button to provide a full description of the issue and what kind of browser/ device you're using.
